There are plenty of scholarships are available for students studying in Guatemala. Students can apply for any scholarship whetther it is merit based, sports scholarships, engineering scholarships, law scholarships, medical scholarships, medicine scholarships, athletic scholarships, art scholarships, and grants, to mention but a few.
The KaS scholarship- thisis awarded annually to students who demonstrate outstanding results in their studies. Students must share the breakthrough moment that led them to pursue a graduate degree.
Eligibility- Any graduate and undergraduate students can apply
- 2.5 or better grade point average
- Apply to a graduate program using the KaS application
- Matriculate to a program at a participating college or university
- Applicants should be registered as full-time for on-campus study
Benefits include- 1st place – $1500, 2nd place – $1000, and3rd place – $500
Fulbright Scholarships-is for Ph.D. applicants from any country. It is open for all disciplines and candidates must be enrolled with any local university or a research institute in guatemala, and cover an academic year of study.
Eligibility-All nationals are eligible, who must be coming from disadvantaged communities but showing excellent academic capabilities, and outstanding leadership potential.
Application requirements: prospective recipients must be enrolled for any PHD degree program at any institution in Guatemala. The students must be able to prove their English proficiency.
Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program- this is a scholarship that offers Partial Funding, offered by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) for international students.
Eligibility: its pen to all nationals. This scholarship can be taken at any recognised or institution in the world.
This scholarship is for Bachelors/Undergraduate, and Masters students pursuing degrees in in Accounting, Business administration, Finance, Criminal justice.
Benefits: USD 1,000 to USD 10,000.
