Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is one of the leading research universities in Malaysia. UPM Group was established in 1971 by the merger of the College of Agriculture of Malaya and the College of Agriculture of the University of Malaya. Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) is a branch campus of UPM and currently consists of one faculty, the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences.
