The city is a multi-cultural epicenter that unites the country with many other Asian communities.

Kuala Lumpur is also the economic and tourist hub of Malaysia with more than 2 million visitors every year.

We have put together some of the most unique places in the city that we encourage our students to visit and experience while studying at APU.

KLCC Park

An absolute must-see park in Kuala Lumpur, a nice mix of nature surrounded by the concrete jungle considered by many as a dream visit, experience and, photo opportunity.

The park is a place to cool off and relax before exploring the Petronas towers and other magnificent structures in the area.

Aquaria

This place is located within a walking distance from the Petronas twin towers and is a large-scale shell-cased aquarium showcasing over 5,00 different exhibits of aquatic and land-bound organisms.

There is a ton to see and do here, and lots of marine wildlife to explore and see here as well.

Jalan Alor

A must-visit for the adventurous foodies where they can sample the local gastronomical delights during the day and the dynamic street food market during the nighttime.

This bustling area is active throughout and the food here is tasty and cheap, likewise, a great span of restaurants and eateries litter the streets with fantastic meal options both local and international.

Menara Tower

This is the tallest telecommunication tower in all of South East Asia and the seventh-tallest in the world built to improve the quality of telecommunications and broadcasting transmissions in the country. The KL Tower is one of the most famous places to visit in Kuala Lumpur, a multi-purpose center that is even more fascinating on the inside, named the highest point in the city.

Petronas Twin Towers

Your stay in Kuala Lumpur would not be complete without paying a visit to the world’s tallest twin towers. The skyscrapers are utterly stunning particularly when they are illuminated at night. The towers welcome visitors from Tuesday to Sunday every week and worth seeing, as the inside is equally more fascinating.
