Vilnius University is one of the oldest and best known higher educational establishments in Lithuania and Central-Eastern Europe. There several dormitories in Vilnius for both male and female understudies and a dormitory facility that accommodate both genders. Dormitories at Vilnius University are designed to make student life very easy. Student rooms are very comfortable and affordable. They come installed with modern utilities and services such as housekeeping, security and wireless internet connectivity all at first-grade qualities. Their twin beds or bunk beds are set up in a room depending on your package. The room also contains a sitting convertible double couch, coffee table, wardrobe, working authentic wood burner. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, teapot gas stove.
Dormitories in Vilnius University has pretty interesting geography, they're situated in Sauletekio, Olandu or Didlaukio streets. They are close enough to the faculties. The time that is necessary to reach a faculty or any other object depends on their geographical location and the traffic causes. This makes life for students much easier as there have no need to worry about being late for classes they can easily run from their dorms to class within a reasonable time, for those who won't take buses or taxes there are always available there are close and dint take time to come and also thanks to the use of applications like Uber.
The university has several off-campus housing situated just a few distances from the university campus. For non-residents, they can get a meal plan for a week or they can buy meals by the cafeteria’s which will be slightly expensive due to them not being planned but are equally as nice. Their student discount for foreign students the Vilnius transport system allows the use of ISIC cards for transportation to other locations or universities. Students pay monthly for their transportation to any location in Lithuania this makes life easy and if paid yearly there are more discounts up to 60% discount. Public transport is very effective and accessible anywhere within the city. buses, trains, taxis, are common options many students move around with. This can also be found on applications like Uber which one can call their taxi while ones still dressing and by the time ones ready they simply walk out of their apartment and walk straight into the taxi
