About Hong Kong Shue Yan University:

The existence of the university is crowned by the fruitful works of Dr. Henry H.L. Hu and Dr. Chung Chi Yun. Through the initiative of these two men, the university of founded in 1971 as Shue Yan College and was recognized as tertiary education school in 1976. Recently, in December 2006 Shue Yan college became the first private university in Hong Kong and has its name changed to Hong Kong Shue Yan University. The institution has established a culture which is to produce successful students through its various faculties and programs to shape the mindset of its students to be responsible leaders of change.
